NTN: The Complete Field

The field for Nike Team Nationals has been set. 44 teams are ready to do battle in Portland, Oregon on December 1. Thanks to four at-large bids, the northeast area is sending eight very strong teams when you combine the Northeast and New York regions.

MileSplit National Team Power Rankings

North Penn continues their dream season as they are still ranked in the top 10 of the MileSpilt National Team Rankings. One can only wonder what they will do this track season. They are ranked 7th and are the only PA team to earn the distinction.

Twelve Days Away

We are twelve days away from the Foot Locker Northeast Regional. With that in mind, we are beginning our exclusive coverage of athletes who are trying to qualify to Foot Locker Nationals, called the Road to San Diego. The coverage, which will lead us up to race day, will be in to addition our normal daily reports.

Our coverage will include articles, videos, talkshoe.com talkcasts, and more. We want to make sure everyone realizes how hard these athletes are working to achieve their goals this season. We will also be providing some bonus coverage of Nike Team Nationals, since there are several PA teams who will be trying to qualify to Portland.

Pennsylvania is loaded this year with talent. But it takes more than talent to be successful. Our goal is to try to reveal what makes up the "more." We will illustrate what happens when one brings together talent, hard work, a strong support system, and quality coaching all into one melting pot.

The Regionals are less than a fortnight away but our coverage begins now. We hope you enjoy. Stay tuned tomorrow as we release the trailer.

MileSpilt National Power Rankings

Since we will now be providing coverage of Nike Team Nationals. Here are the latest MileSplit National Power Rankings. Seventh-ranked North Penn is the only PA team in the rankings.

In the NTN Northeast Regional Rankings PA Has several teams in the top ten. On the boys' side, North Penn leads the way at #2. Germantown Friends is lurking behind them in 6th, while Coatesville (8th) and La Salle (9th) will look to make their mark at the NTN Northeast Regional. Emmaus is ranked 6th on the girls side and they are followed closely by Central Cambria in 7th and 9th-ranked Northern York.

Since we have received so many requests, we are going to add Nike Team Nationals Northeast Regional coverage to our spectrum. The NTN Northeast Regional is the same day as Foot Locker Regionals so it will be a busy day for us.

PA Independent Schools State Championship

Germantown Friends kept their winning streak alive and stayed perfect in PA as they won the PA Independent Schools State Championship. Just as he has done all season, Max Kaulbach lead the charge with a victory in 15:46. His teammates followed closed behind him as the spread through five was sixty-one seconds and the Tigers placed their scoring 5 in the top ten.

Germantown continues on their trek to Nike Team Nationals. The Northeast Regional for Nike Team Nationals is November 24th. Germantown's dominant victory should keep them at number 2 for the PennTrackXC.com Top Ten Rankings and at number 5 for the Northeast Region. They have a great shot to make it and the important thing is that they will get that shot at regionals and must take full advantage of their opportunity.
